Ilford Smooth Pearl 310 gsm – Fine Art Paper-Semi-Gloss

The Galerie Prestige Smooth Pearl paper features the very latest HDR (High Dynamic Range) optically clear coating and coupled with recent advancements in inkjet receiving layer design, makes this the reference media for producing images with superb clarity, high sharpness and excellent colour gamut.

The high-density, resin coated heavyweight base and smooth pearl finish not only eliminate glare and fingerprints, but with it’s natural photographic white tint, produce prints with the true look and feel of a photograph.

Canson Platine Fibre RAG Satin  310 gsm – Fine Art Paper-Semi-Gloss

Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag is the combination of the premium 100% cotton Platinum paper that Canson has supplied for many years to the original Platinum and Platine photographic market, withe the latest microporous coating, making the traditional darkroom paper now available for digital printing.

Setting the benchmark for Digital Darkroom papers, Platine Fibre Rag provides the aesthetic and feel of the original F-Type Baryta Fibre paper, having a true pure white tone without using optical brighteners that are known to affect the longevity of digitally produced images.

Platine Fibre Rag’s extremely high Dmax and exceptional grey tones make it the product of choice for the more discerning black and white as well as colour photographic prints.

SILK / LUSTRE FINE-ART PHOTOGRAPHIC PAPERS – SEMI-GLOSS

Photographic Silk Lustre 260 gsm Paper-Semi-Gloss

A true High Quality Photographic Paper, it has the look and feel of a traditional silver halide photo paper.

Silk/Lustre is between Matte and Gloss.  It’s a lovely looking print.  The Silk/Lustre prints have improved resistance to yellowing.  Excellent Black Density, Huge Wide Colour Gamut, High Moisture Resistance.

It’s a beautiful weight paper at 260gsm, with a very high quality feel.

METALLIC PEARL PAPER – HIGH GLOSS

Kodak Metallic Pearl High Gloss 255 gsm – Gloss Paper

The Kodak Metallic Gloss Paper offers the ability to print images with a true WOW factor.  The Iridium finish gives every image a three-dimensional look ensuring that each print truly comes to life on the paper.

The resin coated paper is 265 gsm and is suitable for creating display and exhibition prints or alternatively prints can be added to photo albums to create additional impact.

Although the media adds an additional creative angle to portrait and studio photography, it also lends itself perfectly to enhancing mechanical, industrial or architectural images.  The Kodak Metallic Pearl Paper is a beautiful paper to work with and it looks stunning.  It prints a little darker in the shadow areas than some other papers, eg. Canson Premium Lustre.

The Perspex / Plexiglas used is world class, optically clear and carries a 30 year guarantee against yellowing.  It’s guaranteed retain a high level of light transmission for 30 years.  It’s guaranteed not to visibly change the appearance, brilliance and surface of clear-transparent Plexiglas.

Plexiglas has such natural UV protection.  That is what makes Plexiglas one of the best plastics of all for exterior applications, whether in the automotive or aviation industry, in carports or patio roofs, one that has been around for over 70 years.  Other cheap imitations can not offer a 30 year guarantee or UV protection.

Photos are printed on High Quality Rolled Canvas Prints, and are not stretched around a timber frame, they are printed on Premium 380 gsm Fine-Art Canvas.

Rolled Canvas Prints are ideal for Picture Framers or for transporting overseas, without the bulk of a Stretched Canvas.  You can get it stretched around a Frame by any Picture Framing Company.

A flawless Canvas is produced, then hand wrapped, and will arrive protected in a custom secure reinforced mailing tube.

The finest materials are used to ensure the highest quality prints, from the Genuine Epson Solvent Inks and the Artisan Fine Art Canvas.  Quality is never compromised. The Boxed Aluminium HD Metal Prints are ready to hand on your wall.  The finished size is actually one inch bigger on both horizontal and vertical sides due to the framing.  For example, an 8 x 12 inch has an outside finished size of 9 x 13 inch.

The Acrylic (Perspex) used to face mount high gloss or metallic paper images, are Plexiglass.  The Plexiglass brand provides a 30 year guarantee that the Perspex will not yellow or fade the image.  All printing is done using a Canon iPF8300 12 colour Archival Pigment Ink.  All the acrylic photo printing used to create the image panels and blocks come with a 75 year fading guarantee.

Having a photo mounted professionally in Perspex is one of the best ways to give an image the stunning finish it deserves. The clarity and quality offered by acrylic face mounting is second to none, making the image pop no matter where it’s placed in your home or office.

The Acrylic Mounting you are ordering comes ready to hang on the wall on a 4.5 mm or 6 mm laser cut clear Perspex with the aluminium backing frame, it will appear to be floating 1 – 2 cm away from the wall, frameless with a very sharp look.

Upgrades

The metallic upgrade offers an option to have the image printed on metallic paper.  This gives the finished product a pearl like finish and slightly enhances the image’s saturation.  This upgrade is recommended when purchasing larger Acrylic Mounting Panels as it gives the piece the additional wow factor.

The 6 mm upgrade offers to have the image face mounted onto a 6 mm thick acrylic panel.  This gives the image increased thickness and adds depth to the overall panel.
